Wellness is a tremendous benefit that comes with being a member of the Statewide Benefit Cooperative.
Each employer has access to a specially negotiated arrangement with Principal Wellness Company, a member of the Principal Financial GroupÒ (The PrincipalÒ). When an employer signs up for their Wellness program, they can receive a 3% to 5% discount (based on participation) on their health insurance premium. This essentially offsets the cost of the program making it a win-win-win for you, the benefit cooperative and your employees.

The Statewide Benefit Cooperative implemented a comprehensive wellness program long before wellness became the buzzword that it is today. We have over 12 years worth of experience and data that show the positive impact a bona-fide Wellness program can have on employee health and claims trend.
Comprehensive Solutions
Statewide Benefit Cooperative members receive a Wellness program that is a comprehensive health improvement solution. It includes Health Risk Appraisals, on-site screenings with a full battery of clinical testing, educational materials, and Wellness campaigns.
Most importantly, the program does not stop there. Individuals who are identified as being at risk for future health problems receive hands-on follow-up and monitoring to ensure they are aware of the health concern and are taking steps to mitigate the risks associated with it.
